RH Homes and Property was originally established in 2009 as Ruskin Ward Ltd, trading as Wards Residential. In 2020 the company rebranded to RH Homes and Property — a fresh identity for the same trusted, local team.
Jon and Richard have both lived in the Hinckley and Burbage area for decades, and between them bring a depth of local property market knowledge that simply can't be replicated by larger corporate agencies.
Today we operate as a boutique, hybrid estate agency — combining the personal service you'd expect from a local independent with the marketing reach and technology of a modern agent. Every client gets direct access to the people who know this market best.
Meet the Team
Jon Ruskin
Director & Co-Founder
Jon has over 25 years' experience in both corporate and independent estate agency as an owner and manager. Taking his first managerial role within 18 months of starting in the industry, he went on to head up sales and marketing at Wards Residential — selling properties throughout Hinckley, Burbage and Leicestershire. He founded RH Homes and Property during the Covid era, seeing it as an opportunity to build something boutique, independent and personal.

Richard Harris
Residential Director
Richard worked alongside Jon for many years, progressing from Negotiator through to Residential Director. A long-term resident of Hinckley and Burbage, he brings an in-depth knowledge of the local market, its people and its communities to every valuation, negotiation and sale. His desire to build something genuinely independent and client-focused led him to co-found RH Homes and Property.
