Common Questions

Landlord services — FAQ

What does a letting agent do?
A Letting agent provides a range of services designed to take pressure off residential landlords and help them with all aspects of their residential tenancies. They can find, vet and set up all the documentation for a new residential tenancy. At full management service level, they can act as the first point of contact for the tenant, collect the rent, co-ordinate any property maintenance and handle all aspects of legal compliance for the landlord in an ever increasingly compliance led world.
What is full property management?
The Full Management Service handles the collection and remittance of rent with clear accounting and regular statements. It provides regular property visits to ensure your investment is running smoothly and it co-ordinates any maintenance issues/repairs as they arise. Overall, it provides the landlord with the peace of mind that the many aspects of compliance are being looked after on their behalf.
How much do landlord services cost?
We offer three service levels — The Letting Service, The Premium Letting Service and Full Management Service — with transparent fees. Call 01235 763563 or request a free rental appraisal for a full fee schedule tailored to your property.
What are my legal obligations as a landlord?
There are no fewer than 140 individual laws that cover Residential Lettings. Our job is to ensure that whatever assistance a landlord is looking for that we can protect them and ensure they would be fully compliant.
