Privacy policy
How JDP Property Services Ltd collects, uses and stores personal data, and what rights you have over it.
Last updated 16 September 2026.
Who we are
JDP Property Services Ltd (company number 15960140), of 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at info@jdppropertyservices.com or on 020 8226 4690.
What we collect, and when
- When you send us an enquiry. The form on this site asks for your name and phone number, and optionally your email address, the property postcode and your message. Nothing else is collected by the form.
- When you contact us directly. Anything you tell us by phone, email or in person in the course of a valuation, a viewing, a sale, a tenancy or a managed property.
- Technical information. Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To answer your enquiry and provide our services — because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform one.
- To meet our legal obligations — anti-money-laundering identity checks, Right to Rent checks, tax and accounting records, and the duties that come with being a member of a redress scheme.
- For our legitimate interests — keeping records of enquiries so we can follow them up properly, and keeping the site secure. We do not send marketing to enquirers who have not asked for it.
Consent on the enquiry form
The form asks you to confirm that your details may be stored and processed so that we can contact you. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, and we will stop processing your details on that basis.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only where it is necessary to do the job you have asked us to do, or where the law requires it. Depending on the service, that can include referencing providers, deposit protection schemes, contractors attending a repair, solicitors and surveyors acting on a transaction, our accountants, and our IT and email providers. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become business are kept only as long as they are useful and then deleted. Records relating to a completed sale, tenancy or managed property are kept for as long as the law requires — anti-money-laundering and tax rules set minimum periods measured in years — and then deleted.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It sets a session cookie, which is necessary for the site to work and to protect the enquiry form against cross-site request forgery. Fonts and images are served from our own server, so loading a page does not pass your details to a third party.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to restrict or object to how we use it, and ask for it in a portable form. Email info@jdppropertyservices.com and we will respond within the statutory period.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change how we use personal data — for example by adding website analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top.
